About
Science-U @home provides fun activities for grown-ups and kids to explore science together.
Finding activities is easy.
Activities can be filtered by difficulty, how messy they are, how long they take, and whether they should happen indoors or outside.
Not a scientist? No problem!
Science-U @Home activities emphasize asking questions and seeing what happens. All of the science is explained in the How it Works section so you can help your curious kid make new discoveries!
Make discoveries together!
Kids will be having so much fun, they won’t even realize they are developing important critical thinking skills!
Produced by WPSU Penn State
Science-U @home is a production of WPSU Penn State in collaboration with Penn State Science Outreach in the Eberly College of Science. Several of the Science-U @home activities were adapted from programs at “Science-U,” Penn State’s on-campus summer camp.
WPSU is an outreach service of Penn State in operation for fifty years. We provide public television (PBS) and radio (NPR) broadcasting and online resources. We serve Central Pennsylvania, the region, and the nation with compelling stories and educational media.
